Play Therapy

What to Expect

Therapy Services

Are you struggling to find balance in your life? For over 20 years I have enjoyed working with children, adolescents, and adults to improve relationships, change behaviors, and to feel better about themselves.

My approach is integrative, drawing from my training and experience in a variety of approaches including: play therapy, sand tray therapy, cognitive behavioral, and solution focused therapy.

Life in Balance

Play therapy is a special approach used mainly with young children, who often have a difficult time expressing complex thoughts, ideas, or emotions verbally. Play allows greater self-expression and begins the healing process.

Seeing a therapist, especially if this is your first time, can be an intimidating thought.  This article by Dr. Bressert will give you an idea of what to expect and help make the whole idea seem a lot less intimidating.  After all, therapy is about helping you.

Everyone’s needs are unique. As a practicing therapist with more than 20 years of experience I have expertise in a number of therapy types. I will assess your individual situation and goals and develop an approach that is appropriate for you.
